CA Radiologic Health Branch Website

• Limited X-Ray Technician (XT) – 24 approved CE credits in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your permit
• Limited X-Ray Technician (XT) with Digital Authorization – 24 approved CE credits, 4 of which in digital radiography, in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your permit.
• Limited X-Ray Technician (XT) in DEXA – 24 approved CE credits in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your permit
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) – 24 approved CE credits, 4 of which in digital radiography, in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your permit
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) with Fluoroscopy Permit – 24 approved CE credits, 4 of which in digital radiography and 4 of which in radiation safety for the clinical uses of fluoroscopy, in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your permit
• Mammographic Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) – 24 approved CE credits, 4 of which in digital radiography and 10 of which in mammography, in in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of their permit
• Mammographic Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) with Fluoroscopy Permit – 24 approved CE credits, 4 of which in digital radiography, 4 of which in radiation safety for the clinical uses of fluoroscopy, and 10 of which in mammography, in in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your permit
• Physician Supervisors and Operators – 10 approved CE credits in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your certificate/permit
• Physician Supervisors and Operators with Fluoroscopy Permit – 10 approved CE credits, 4 of which in radiation safety for the clinical uses of fluoroscopy, in the two years immediately preceding the expiration date of your certificate/permit

If any of the mammography or fluoroscopy CE credits are related to digital radiography, you may use them towards the digital radiography CE requirement.
