USPSTF updates to Breast Cancer Screening Age Recommendations

In April of 2024, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force updated the recommended age to start breast cancer screening with mammography. The age is set to be lowered from age 50 to age 40. For more information, Click Here. Please note that if you are completing one of our mammography courses that the course materials and approvals could have been obtained before this update. For any test questions that relates to this update, refer to the reading materials of the CE course to select the answer.

Confused about the ARRT®’s Continuing Qualifications Requirements (CQR) process? Here are some helpful information and links.

Beginning January 2018, any RT®s that have earned their credentials with the ARRT® after January 1, 2011, and all R.R.A.®s, will be required to complete the CQR process every 10 years. You may log into your ARRT® online account to find out more information. The ARRT® also has a video library to explain what the CQR process is and how to complete it.  Or you may call the ARRT® at 651-687-0048, extension 8540, for more information. Click here to view our course coding chart for what each course covers.

Did you know?

The ARRT® (and most state licenses) allows you to repeat CE courses as long as you do not repeat the course in the same CE biennium. Have a book? If it’s still approved, you can order the test only and save on your CE!
