Skyline Hospital located in White Salmon, Washington, has a unique opportunity for an experienced full-time Ultrasound Technologist. This full-time, M-F, day shift, no call position, will work with a small, dedicated, close-knit team where quality and patient care are the priority.
Candidates should be driven, innovative, patient-focused and have the ambition to help grow the Imaging Department. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of two years experience as well as ADRMS, RVT & BLS certifications. Proficiency with the following studies required: breast, cardiovascular, GYN, abdominal, DVT and urogenital.
Skyline Hospital also has a full-time opening for an experienced Mammography Technologist. This position will provide high quality diagnostic radiology services to patients in a timely manner using state of the art digital mammography 3D equipment. All technologists work together to obtain the best possible radiographic information for interpretation in an efficient manner. In addition to assisting the radiologists and primary physician, the mammography technologist is also responsible for maintaining QC, continuing educating and keeping up to date on protocol changes. As time allows, this position will also perform x-ray exams. And other duties as assigned.
Completion of an approved school for Radiologic Technology
Washington Radiologic Technologist certification required
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or recognized equivalent
Must have or be able to obtain mammography certification.
CT certification or experience helpful
Excellent knowledge of QA, QC, MQSA, ACR regulations and requirements
Minimum of 1 year mammography experience required

Beginning January 2018, any RTs that have earned their credentials with the ARRT after January 1, 2011, and all R.R.A.s, will be required to complete the CQR process every 10 years. DBT Accreditation Announcement
As of April 2018 the ACR, American College of Radiology, is approved to accredit tomosynthesis (DBT/3D) by the FDA. Previously the FDA handled the accreditation, because it was a new modality. Instead of submitting an application to the FDA certificate extension program, ACR-accredited facilities can now apply for DBT accreditation with the ACR.
