Course Description

Ultrasound is the ultimate “image gently” modality, and its low risk, cost-effectiveness, and versatility make it a mainstay in medical imaging. This course is based on the Manual of Diagnostic Ultrasound, Volume 2, 2nd Edition, published by the World Health Organization (WHO). This volume covers sonography applications in obstetrics, gynecology, breast, pediatrics, and musculoskeletal screening and diagnosis. Each chapter covers relevant anatomy, normal findings, and pathologic findings of the specific system or application.

This course is based on the book Manual of Diagnostic Ultrasound: Volume 2, 2nd edition, edited by Elisabetta Buscarini, Harald Lutz, and Paoletta Mirk (ISBN: 9789241548540) published by the World Health Organization. The PDF is 465 pages long and 6 x 9.5 inches in size available for download.

The chapter approvals have CE Amounts totaling 24 CE credits and a total of 245 test questions.
