Purchasing a Test Only means that you will only receive the test. You must complete the test that is sent to you; no previous versions (i.e., longer/shorter) of any test will be accepted for CE credit. All tests correlate directly with the approved reading materials for the self-directed CE activity. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure you have the correct reading material to complete the test. X-Ray Lady is not responsible for failure of a test when completing a course without any or incorrect approved reading material. No refunds, exchanges, or store credits are issued after failing all three attempts allowed for the course. Course Description
MRI is an important diagnostic modality that acquires images of the body using a magnetic field, radio waves, and hydrogen nuclei within the patient’s body. It excels at providing images of soft tissues, organs, and structures within the body without the need for ionizing radiation, making it a safer alternative to traditional imaging methods. To provide quality MR images and safe patient care, technologists must be well-versed in the physical principles of image formation. This course follows the ARRT® Structured Self-Assessment Content Specifications outline in the category of MR Image Production. The course content includes MR instrumentation, fundamentals, artifacts, and quality control.
This course is based on the book Physical Principles of MR Image Formation, by Jeana Fleitz, M.Ed., RT(R)(M)(ARRT)™. The book/PDF is 142 pages long and 8.5 x 11 inches in size. This book has 12 pt font and 1.5 line spacing.
The test has 56 multiple choice and true/false questions.
