The year has finally come to end.  As we say goodbye to all the memories of 2017 we look forward to the new and exciting things to come for 2018.  We want to take a moment to thank each and every one of our customers.  You are the reason we are here and are able to continue to offer exceptional continuing education from year to year.

 

In 2017 we added many new courses to our catalog.  We worked on trying to offer courses that would fulfill certain state and national requirements.  We also streamlined our eBooks to make them instant upon purchase and added a new discount program for all persons in the military past or present.

 

In 2018 our promise to you is to continue what we started in 2017.  We want to make sure we have the most relevant and up to date CE topics that we can.  We will continue to work to make sure that all of you have the best experience with our company. This includes ease of use of our website and testing center and providing the best customer service possible.  We welcome all suggestions for improvement at any time.  So, if you have some ideas we would love to hear them.  Send your ideas to Jennifer Love at jlovexrayladyce@gmail.com or feel free to call our office anytime.

RT Week Success!

This year we launched a drawing to win 3 prizes for RT week.  We had an overwhelming response of entries and we were so happy that we were able to provide three lucky people with some awesome prizes.  The grand prize winners were:

 

1)  Lucrezia Pugh from TX won Princeton Anatomy 24.75 CE Course
2)  Ira Ortega from FL won a new Amazon Kindle Fire
3)  Keira Wenzel from Canada won a $25 Amazon gift card

What’s happening?
Email list subscribers

For those of you currently subscribed to our email list, depending on what topics/lists you signed up for, you are used to receiving emails for sales that last anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks.  In 2018 we are going to try something new with our sales/discounts.

 

We will be doing a monthly course spotlight on one-two courses that will be discounted more than ever before and this discount will last for the entire month.  We will still continue to have a few pop-up sales and will more than likely still have some clearance courses but the sales will now last longer and will ultimately be a bigger savings.  What’s not to love about that, right?  Keep your eye on your inbox towards the first of the month to see the new course spotlight!

 

You will also be receiving an email at the beginning of the year about our mailing list.  This is for email list subscribers.  If you are on our email list and also receiving postcards from us in the mail there will be a form to fill out if you want to choose to opt out of the postcard mailing list.  The email list is more frequent than our postcards and provides a wealth of more information.  This is just a way for us to try to stay green and cut down on waste of paper products.  If you would like more information or submit a request before this email goes out you can do so by contacting our office.

New Courses
Coming in 2018

We have a few new courses in the works for 2018.  While the courses listed are the one’s that we know of for sure we are constantly looking for new subject matter to offer.  So make sure to keep checking your inbox in 2018 for the announcement of even more new courses.

 

1)  Breast Imaging Case Reviews: ASRT Approved for 15.25 CE (Available 1/1/18)
2)  Digital Mammography: CE TBD (Estimated Arrival-Fall 2018)  This course will
     replace the current digital mammography course that we have.  Brand new and
     updated and will be at least 8 credits.
3)  Breast Pathology:  CE TBD (Estimated Arrival-Fall 2018)  This course will be our
     very first downloadable video course!  We are very excited about offering this new
     course option!

 

Tell us what you want!  You are the most important factor in our decisions on what courses to offer.  If there is a big enough need for a certain topic we will do our very best to make sure we have a course to fulfill it.  Suggestions can be made via email at xrayladyce@gmail.com, on your course evaluation, contact us form, phone, or fax!

New discount program…
Refer your friends and get discounts!

We are currently in the early stages of developing a refer a friend program.  Most of our business is through word of mouth so why not get rewarded for it.  We are shooting for a trial run of this program to begin some time at the beginning of 2018.  This program will give discounts/credits to customers that refer so many new customers (that place orders) during a specific time period.  We will be sending out new information closer to the launch of the program.

Fall is finally here and we have some exciting news to share with you!  Keep checking your inbox because we will be announcing new courses and a drawing to win free stuff for National RT Week.  Even though it seems as if it is not possible the year is almost over. We just want to give a sincere thank you to all of our customers who allow us to to continue offering the best continuing education courses that we can to you!

 

During the holidays this year we will have some office closures and holiday office hours.  We will send out an email about these special holiday hours as well as post them on our website.

ARRT to stop issuing new QM credentials….

According to an article published by the ARRT on 5/151/17 the ARRT announced that they will no longer be issuing new Quality Managment (QM) credentials after June 30th, 2018.  RT’s that already hold the QM credential or earn it before July 1, 2018 will be able to maintain the credential if they choose to do so.  The last day to apply for the QM exam will be June 1, 2018.

X-Ray Lady Continuing Education

This is our first newsletter of 2017.  We hope that all of you have had a great start so far in this new year.  Moving forward we hope to bring some new and exciting courses for you to try and some much needed subject matter such as bone densitometry, among many others.  We want to share with you what’s been going on here at X-Ray Lady these past couple months and what will be coming throughout the year.. We have some new courses coming in and some older courses moving out and have been working hard to always improve upon your experience with X-Ray Lady.

Ebook Improvements

If you have ordered eBooks in the past with us and then ordered one within the last two months you might have noticed that now the eBooks are instantly available upon purchase when purchased on our website.  Now you can receive your eBook immediately after purchasing on our website even if our office is closed.  We are so excited that we were able to figure out a way to make this possible for our customers.  We love feedback and if you have any good or back feedback with regards to the new instantly available eBooks we would love to hear it.  You can call us or email us your comments at xrayladyce@gmail.com.  



Advertising Opportunities
We are hoping to offer some advertising opportunities for individuals and or facilities.  This could be a way to boost your imaging related products, your facility, society/organization, or even job listings.  The choice would be yours as far as your message goes as long as it is related to the medical imaging field.  Possible options to get your message across would include:

  • Website picture slide
  • Website announcement page
  • Newsletter space
  • Flyers
