Course Description
This X-Ray Lady course is a great review for both the new and seasoned radiographer, thoroughly covering patient care, procedures, safety, and image production. This course is based on the book Radiography Prep, 9th Edition, by D. A. Saia, designed to reinforce the basic concepts that radiographers today need to know. Patient care principles include ethical and legal aspects, communication, physical assistance and monitoring, emergencies, infection prevention/control, and pharmacology. The course reviews procedures, radiation safety, image acquisition, and equipment operation and quality assurance. Modeled after the ARRT® content specifications, this course is a solid resource for any technologist.
This course is based on the book Radiography Prep, 9th edition, by D. A. Saia (ISBN: 978-1-25-986357-8). The book/PDF is 479 pages long and 8.5 x 11 inches in size. Please note: this book has a smaller font size.
The test has 292 multiple choice and true/false questions.
