Purchasing a Test Only means that you will only receive the test. All tests correlate directly with the reading materials for the CE course. You must complete the test that is sent to you; no previous versions (ie, longer/shorter) of any test will be accepted for CE credit.   It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure you have the correct reading material to complete the test. X-Ray Lady is not responsible for the failure of a test when trying to complete a course without any or incorrect reading material. No refunds, exchanges, or store credits are issued after failing all three attempts allowed for the course.   

Course Description

Bone densitometry is the primary modality for screening for osteoporosis. Based on the book Bone Densitometry for Technologists, 3^rd edition, by Sydney Lou Bonnick and Lori Ann Lewis, this X-Ray Lady course covers the history of bone densitometry, bone anatomy, and the fundamentals of PA lumbar spine, proximal femur, and forearm DXA studies. The book also covers artifacts, quality control, and radiation safety as it relates to bone densitometry.

This course is based on the book Bone Densitometry for Technologists, 3rd edition, by Sydney Lou Bonnick and Lori Ann Lewis (ISBN 978-1-4614-3625-6). The PDF is 358 pages long and 6 x 11 inches in size.

The test has 148 multiple choice and true/false questions.
